JA3 kommt in 3D.

Richard Therrien hat im offiziellen Jagged Alliance 3 Forum bestaetigt das JA3 mit einer 3D Engine laufen wird. Die Gruende liegen auf der Hand: mit 3D lassen sich auch viel mehr Details und Animationen darstellen (Siehe Silent Storm). Hier seine Erklaerung:
2D graphics, given the present screen resolutions possible, have become prohibitive in terms of required memory if you want to have credible scenes and numerous, well articulated animations with a proper number of frames. Not talking about the overall scene details and so on. Properly done, a 3D system will be much more efficient and will look very good indeed.
Btw, our game contents are not defined by our marketing department.
